Joseph Schwarz: Asher’s territory was west of Naphtali, and had, therefore, nearly the whole coast of the Mediterranean from Carmel to Zidon, only that Zebulun had a narrow strip on the sea-coast. To the south, Asher extended, in part, to the Merdj Aben Amer (the Valley of Jezreel), to the southeast of Cheipha, where it touched on Menasseh (Joshua 17:10), and even on Issachar.

Scott Diffenderfer: Hezekiah was a son of David and King of Israel.

Scott Diffenderfer: King Hezekiah longed to gather all of Israel for Passover. He wrote letters and had them posted throughout the Land, inviting them to come together for Passover.

Scott Diffenderfer: Interestingly, only five of the northern tribes [Asher, Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulon] joined Judah for this important feast (2 Chronicles 30:18). Much like the five wise virgins, these people were prepared and received an eternal blessing…

Thinks it’s the House of David
And Vice Versa

Jewish Treats: Asher, Naphtali, and Menashe were the ones who pursued and vanquished the fleeing Media.

Jewish Treats: Judah invited the Israelites of the Northern Kingdom to celebrate Passover in Jerusalem, but only Asher, Menashe, and Zebulun attended.

Walid N. Maaytah: The most important thing is this: It is a safe country. Jordanians are hospitable. You can go out and easily move around at night and stay late and if you go ask Jordanians, they will say that they like Filipinos because they feel that they’re tidy, devoted, committed to their work, and they’re very, very polite.

Philip C. Tubeza: nurses teach Jordan kids
OVERSEAS Filipino nurse Aizel Mendoza with two of her wards at the Autism Academy of Jordan: "At the start, he did not know how to speak. He would just hum. Every day I would greet him and one day he just answered back: 'Mahal kita (I love you).' I was so happy. Now, when I greet him, he replies, 'mabuti.'" Mendoza is one of eight Filipino female nurses who arrived nine months ago at the Academy, which takes care children with autism or other mental handicaps from several places across the Middle East, like Oman, Bahrain, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia. The elite hospital already has 30 Filipino nurses and is expecting another batch of 19 from the Philippines. The owner plans to build more buildings, enlarge the academy, and hire more nurses from the Philippines.

Moishe New: The 7th millennium about which even the prophets did not speak.

On Shabbat, we are liberated of all worries. Everything is done for You, on Shabbat. We are in the Friday afternoon of History, so now start to spiritually taste of the great cosmic Shabbat: the era of universal enlightenment. That changes everything, on the ground. Let's Begin width Israel and the Jewish people. What is required of Today is: the intellect. It's a battle of the minds, My Friends. This is THE Final Battle. It's no longer an Instinctual given: People have to understand. It's a P.R. War, if you like. It's a battle of the Hochmah, the Binah, and the Da'at. The heart isn't responding like it used to. It's being questioned, by our own. Great. Let's have the answers; the answers are there: in the depth of Judaism itself. We have to have a clear, unambiguous, enlightened position rooted in fact, the Torah, History, why we're there, our rights to it, we have to speak a language that is clear, that is consistent: you illuminate the Darkness with the candle of truth and, remember, a little flame cannot only be seen from afar, but a little flame transforms an entire room that's engulfed in Darkness. Say the truth. Have the clarity. Do not Deviate. Do not Compromise. Say it the Way it is. Educate. And THAT will be heard because everything is Darkness and Darkness has no substance. It's the Absence of a light, so light the light, from the Kindergartens in Gaza to our message to the World. It's not the Gun. It's the mind and if that battle is won, we don't even have to fire the gun, although we must have the most strongest army possible because they need to respect us, and they respect us, when there is strength, integrity, and clarity, but fundamentally, it Begins with the MESSAGE: it's also symbolic, so connected to those three territories that await us, as it were. As we stand on the threshold of redemption, we have to taste. That's enlightenment.

Marriage. It's an evolving relationship. The giving of the Torah was the betrothal, but the consummation of the marriage is when Moshich comes. Marriage isn't what it used to be. Marriage used to be simply they believe, each one did their thing, no one questioned, it was meant to be. That's how they lived. They lived together. They brought up Children together. No longer. Today, a marriage must be — not just a connection of hearts, which doesn't seem to work (that faith that we're meant to be, on some deep Instinctual level) — a meeting of minds. Couples have to talk. They have to understand each other. They have to share and communicate, in a very deep sharing. I have to understand the way you think and, ultimately, we can argue, well, the Marriages of Old were Better because they had this faith and commitment to each other. That's true, but it's greater than because there's no greater intimacy than the intimacy of the minds. If I understand you, then I've got you inside mi. That's a much deeper connection than two hearts beeting, even two bodies becoming one. When two minds become one ~ when I appreciate you and understand you ~ I, literally, have internalized you within. That's the deepest intimacy. We'll understand Him, not just believe, surrender to Him, as we have in the past, but understand Him, and, so too, that reflects itself in the evolving nature of marriages. It becomes richer that Way: a meeting of minds, Israel and Jews. We'll have the three faculties of our minds fully engaged: the entire Land of Israel. It's so close. We need to recognize what the battle is. It's the mind: understanding, clarity, and vision. Why are we here? What's this whole struggle about? What are we fighting for? The Torah gives these clear deep answers, especially in the Kabbalah and Chassidut. These were treasures hidden for millenia. Now is the time to open them up because these treasures have the answers to the challenge of our Day, whether it's Israel, marriage, or general relationships. It's all in these treasures, so we need to avail ourselves of them and study them, which we try to share, in part.

Dear Friends, these three children did not die, in vain, and their Deaths precipitated Salvation, but we must be resolute; you start the operation and you must go, resolutely, to The End: the battle of the mind, clear, repeat the truth, over and over, again, width clarity, width conviction, width Hochmah, width Binah, width Da'at... And victory is at hand; And only joy and gladness and good and peace for the Jewish People and for all of Humanity.
Congregation: Amayin.

New Voices Magazine: Israel is home to about 100,000 Filipinos. But have you ever taken the time to really get to know any of their stories?
Nissan Mindel: The neighboring kingdoms, Aram (Syria) in the north, and Moab in the south, occasionally proved a menace to the two and a half tribes, and to Gad in particular.

Walang ligaya sa lupa na hindi dinilig ng luha.

Filipino Proverb: There is no earthly bliss not watered by tears.

Bnei Lot are of an ancient origin. In the migratory tradition of Ruth begun more than two millennia ago, a remnant of David and Solomon migrated into Maritime Southeast Asia which comprises what is now Brunei, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, The Philippines, and Singapore, as well as Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia, with a sizeable minority of Malays migrating back to their tribal allotments in Sephardic Judah, besides Terrestrial and Figurative Jordan.
