Chef Leah Cohen: Growing up, I always loved helping out in the kitchen. I used to help my grandmother with Passover every year, helping to make matzo balls and brisket. Every year my family was always in charge of hosting Thanksgiving and I was always helping out my mom with that and our Filipino potluck parties. I think that’s where my passion for food came from, and eventually was the reason why I became a chef.
