AVI BINUR: MERCY GATE בָּרוּךְ הַשֵׁם
Philippine Consul General Mario L. De Leon: These three exiles in history, all caused by political conflict and power struggle, led to Philippine independence and freedom – whether temporary and long-term. Much like the Jews seeking the refuge of the Promised Land, Jose Rizal, Manuel Quezon, and Ninoy Aquino, all endured being away from the motherland with the vision that someday, their country will be free from foreign colonization, tyranny, oppression, and dictatorship

De Leon was invited as a guest speaker by Temple Emanu-El Senior Rabbi Joshua Davidson, AJC New York Director Mr. Michael Schmidt and Mr. Alex Bronzo, AJC Associate Director, during celebrations of the Jewish holiday, Sukkot, at Temple Emanu-El {…} Ambassador Sandra Fuentes-Berain, the Consul General of Mexico in New York, was also invited as speaker to share her country’s experience with international migration. Cat: Davi and Jim decided to see each other before the ceremony to take all of their family, bridal party and romantic pics. It is a favorite moment of ours when the couple lights up at first site. Amazing.

Bnei Lot are of an ancient origin. In the migratory tradition of Ruth begun more than two millennia ago, a remnant of David and Solomon migrated into Maritime Southeast Asia which comprises what is now Brunei, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, The Philippines, and Singapore, as well as Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia, with a sizeable minority of Malays migrating back to their tribal allotments in Sephardic Judah, besides Terrestrial and Figurative Jordan.
