AVI BINUR: MERCY GATE בָּרוּךְ הַשֵׁם

Tropical Storm Isaac

‎"My hair isn't done, OMG, I look terrible. I have no shame. You guys are gonna throw up. This is so gross: I have three zits! This happened in two seconds: all of a sudden, the world opens up. I didn't sleep the night before. You know why? 'Cause it rained thunder and lightning for twelve consecutive hours from, like, seven to seven, and it kept me awake. I have a sunroom downstairs and one upstairs in the master bedroom. And it's all just windows. I don't know, so it's kind of scary. So, anyway, it was really loud and freaking me out, so I was up all night. This morning, at 5:30, it sounded like a hurricane. You know when they say, 'It sounds like a hurricane' because it sounds like a fucking hurricane: It's so loud! The wind, kind of, whistles...? And it's 'only' a Tropical Storm. So. The people that I'm calling: they're not, like, a Weather Bureau or an emergency place, where they say, 'Okay, you need, right this second to go into a secure area or get away from a window.' They tell me to 'go to a grocery store and watch TV.' What? So, the local channel is telling me 'not to go near the water because the seas are rough.' Really." ~ AlyceIsCurious

Filipino Proverb: There is no earthly bliss not watered by tears.

Bnei Lot are of an ancient origin. In the migratory tradition of Ruth begun more than two millennia ago, a remnant of David and Solomon migrated into Maritime Southeast Asia which comprises what is now Brunei, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, The Philippines, and Singapore, as well as Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia, with a sizeable minority of Malays migrating back to their tribal allotments in Sephardic Judah, besides Terrestrial and Figurative Jordan.
