I am #Diversity! Nothing culture shocks me. All my life and more than likely for the rest of it there will always be more people mistaking me as a #PuertoRican, Half #Black, and / or #MiddleEastern. By blood, many people keep forgetting I'm not any of those even after I have informed them my mom is #Filipino and my late-father is #Jewish #Russian. Oh and my professor back in 2000 from my #AfricanAmerican History class agreed that I was a Black #Lesbian in a former life!!! As of lately, I got accused of converting to #Islam simply cause I blocked them for their #prejudice remarks against #Muslims on my wall. NONE of this disturbs me. I LOVE IT! Why get offended? Some people get too offended and I know that has a lot to do with their lack of #selflove and the ignorance they picked up from their upbringing. This is not saying I am so perfectly loving myself 100%. I am human and so with my #positives comes the #devilishfunctions we all have. Seriously, I find it lame when people are throwing shade cause you will not identify how they wish to identify you, but that's not something for me to take personal cause that's just a reflection of their own dream and reality. Not mine! I feel it's also important to recognize our own #racist behaviors cause sometimes we aren't always aware of our own behaviors. Yes including me. With that said, time to continue opening my legs....
