How serendipitous that my first movie, @seemothersday is a tribute to these two incredible women in my life (and mothers everywhere!) I would be nowhere without my mom and grandma and to be able to have them on either side of me on the red carpet was one of those life moments that's puts it all into perspective. Happy Mother's Day, I am who I am because of you. Ps. Shannon Ashley Mitchell  is a second cousin-niece of María Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga-Chien KLD.  Her father is of Scottish and Irish extraction and her mother, a Filipina, is from Pampanga.
